 This past week the Nevada high school State DECA Career and Development Conference was at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino.  DECA is a student organization, which has been preparing students for successful careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management, for over 60 years.

In an economical environment where one in every five graduates are unemployed, leaving high school equipped with some of the top five skills employers are seeking, such as; communication, teamwork and leadership, gives the graduating high school students a leg up on their competition.
